Medical Director

Jessica is a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor in New Jersey with over 7 years of experience in the substance abuse and mental health industry. Jessica has over 5 years of experience in administration, leadership and operations. She is respected as a credible voice in decision making, finding strategic partners and intuitively sees the threads of opportunity that wind through an organization. Jessica earns a seat at the table wherever she serves, ensuring that programs and services are consistent with the organization’s mission & vision, and monitoring their effectiveness. She received her MS in Clinical Psychology Mental Health Counseling from Holy Family University in 2016. When Jessica is not working she enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling and cooking.

Dr. Elizabeth Drew graduated from Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completed her family practice residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown PA. In 2005, she opened her family medicine office in Doylestown, and in 2008 she treated her first patient for opiate addiction.

Since then Dr. Drew has attained her board certification in Addiction Medicine, treated more than a thousand patients for addiction to opiates and alcohol, participated in programs to educate the community, traveled to Washington DC to educate our legislators, and served as Medical Director at some of the best addiction treatment programs in Pennsylvania.

She understands that addiction is a chronic disease that no one would choose to have, and her treatment philosophy is based on respect, compassion, and empowerment. She is excited to be the Medical Director of MPower Wellness and work to provide superior addiction treatment in Chester County.

Marissa Hulmes

Marissa has over 5 years’ experience working within the substance abuse and mental health field. Marissa graduated from Stockton University with her Bachelors in Psychology, concentrating in Forensic Psychology; an moved on to become a Certified Alcohol and Drug Use Counselor and a Certified Trauma Professional. Utilizing her knowledge of the brain, Marissa began working as a Cognitive Retraining specialist in a traumatic brain injury center. After two years, she moved into the Substance Abuse Field as a case manager and has moved into multiple different clinical, administrative and leadership roles since.

Marissa has been able to bring a specialized approach into the field, focusing on the brain’s impact in substance abuse and its ability to regenerate and heal itself despite damage done through continued substance use. She has experience working in case management, counseling, administration, operations, and compliance. Her person-centered approach allows her to be an advocate for all patient’s that encounter her and making sure they have a personalized approach that will work for them.

In her free time Marissa enjoys being at home with her cat and her roommate, crocheting, spending time with her grandparents and hanging out with friends and family.

Allysa has worked in mental health and substance abuse since 2019. She is a board-certified and licensed music therapist. She received her bachelor’s in Music Therapy from Immaculata University. Currently, she is working toward her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Liberty University.

Allysa is passionate about empowering individuals and leading them to holistic healing. She specializes in Christian counseling and mentorship. Her person-centered approach inclines her to meet each person where they are.

She enjoys singing, baking, and hiking with friends. It would be her honor and pleasure to partner alongside you on your journey to a joyful and healthier life.

Ihuarulam Chidiebere Okoroji, MSN, AGPCNP-BC

Registered Nurse Practitioner

Chidi is board -certified registered nurse practitioner. She started her nursing career over twenty years ago as a Registered nurse in various health care settings. In the hospital setting she worked in medical surgical, Cardiac telemetry-progressive care, and as a float nurse in various hospital units.  She worked in skilled nursing care facilities and held many positions such as staff nurse, nursing supervisors/managerial and several nursing leadership/director positions. She also worked in home care setting and hospice care, caring for patients who were terminally ill. 

She became a board-certified registered nurse practitioner 5 years ago and worked in advanced disease management and palliative care for two years. She has dedicated the past three years as a nurse practitioner working with individuals struggling with substance use disorders and mental health disorders, where she finds her passion.
She obtained her Diploma of Nursing Degree from University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in 1996 and moved to the United States. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009 from Alvernia University. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2015. She is currently completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice education at Walden University.
Her training, skills, education, knowledge and experiences in various healthcare settings have ignited her passion to provide evidence-based, person-centered, quality, and safe patient care.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, dancing, cooking and listening to music.
