OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER
Individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder may express excessive cleanliness and orderliness, strong attention to detail, and even perfectionism. Symptoms associated with this disorder can be near-impossible to control without professional help, causing those with OCD to struggle daily with repetitive and unwanted urges.
Programs like the ones offered at MPower Wellness can offer individuals with OCD a better quality of life.

What can I expect during my program?
Therapy is a highly recommended form of treatment for managing OCD. Treatment can involve talk therapy and even exposure therapy. Patients are encouraged to expose themselves to situations that trigger their obsessions, with the idea that fear, anxiety, and compulsions will lessen over time. Medication can also be an effective form of treatment.
Our team will identify the best next steps during the evaluation process to increase the chances of lasting success.
